There are a few build options that are trying to keep and report various statistics - DETAILED_LATENCY - SERVER_STATUS - WITH_STATS remove all those and establish a generic rplacement, lws_metrics. lws_metrics makes its stats available via an lws_system ops function pointer that the user code can set. Openmetrics export is supported, for, eg, prometheus scraping. |

lws minimal secure streams proxy
Operates as a secure streams proxy, by default on a listening unix domain socket "proxy.ss.lws" in the Linux abstract namespace.
Give -p to have it listen on a specific tcp port instead.

usage
| Commandline option | Meaning |
|---|---|
| -d | Debug verbosity in decimal, eg, -d15 |
| -f | Force connecting to the wrong endpoint to check backoff retry flow |
| -p | If not given, proxy listens on a Unix Domain Socket, if given listen on specified tcp port |
| -i | Optionally specify the UDS path (no -p) or network interface to bind to (if -p also given) |
