Steffan, thank you for sharing your useful collection of tools. I am trying to use these two, the hook script and the update script called by it, but they don't work together, because the latter does not recognize the '-d' option, returning an error "/usr/local/bin/nsupdate.sh: illegal option -- d". So I am going to fix it the quickest way by removing "-d $new_ip_address" from the call. I see that the called script gets the address in a different way.
