Andreas Öman 48f845e02c * If the EPG receives an updated description for an even that is shorter
than the current description it will be ignored.
   This typically happens if the XMLTV and DVB EIT (Event Information Table)
   differs. In other words, we assume that a longer description of an
   event is better than a short.

How to build for Linux
======================

First you need to configure:

$ ./configure

If any dependencies are missing the configure script will complain.
You then have the option to disable that particular module/subsystem.

$ make

Build the binary, after build the binary resides in 'build.Linux/'.
Thus, to start it, just type:

$ build.Linux/tvheadend

Settings are stored in $HOME/.hts/tvheadend
